Wyre Borough Council has approved plans for the £4m redevelopment of Fleetwood Town's football stadium, including a new three-tier stand and the creation of up to 80 jobs.

Wyre Borough Council is planning to invest £2.1m in the transformation of Memorial Park in Fleetwood, and a new £1m site will be provided for the Fleetwood Gymnasium Club.

Wyre Borough Council is to consider plans from NPL Estates for the £800m redevelopment of a 350-acre industrial site at Hillhouse, Thornton Cleveleys, including offices, houses, shops and a school.
