Wrightbus is creating 130 jobs at its Antrim-based bus chassis factory, as part of a £14m investment in research and development.

Wrightbus is to invest £15m in research and staff training at its Ballymena-based bus manufacturing business, including the development of a new electric vehicle.

Wright Group is to invest £7m in the development of environmentally-friendly technology for its Ballymena-based bus manufacturing business.

Wrightbus is creating 52 jobs at a new 50,000 sq ft unit for its Wright Composites subsidiary in Ballymena, in order to manufacture GRP and composite components.

Wrightbus is to invest £15m in the expansion of its bus manufacturing operation in Ballymena, with the creation of about 170 jobs over the next three years.

Wrightbus is to create 100 new jobs at its bus factory in Ballymena, having won a £66m contract to supply 486 buses to First Group.
