Stanhope is planning to build a £75m leisure development at Ashford town centre in Kent, including a hotel, six-screen cinema, restaurants and 250 jobs.

Stanhope is forming a partnership with ABP of China to plan a new £1bn business park at the Royal Albert Dock in London, in order to provide a 24-hour facility for Asian companies expanding into Europe.

Stanhope and Dauphin are set to be selected by the Greater London Authority to develop a 1.5m sq ft business park at the Royal Docks site, in order to attract Chinese companies.

Stanhope is drawing up plans to develop the 250,000 sq ft King's Quarter shopping centre in Gloucester by 2014.

Stanhope is linking up with the Carbon Trust and Threadneedle to invest £350m in the acquisition and refurbishment of old office buildings.
