Seajacks is looking to expand the workforce at its Great Yarmouth-based offshore wind business from 260 to 450 by the end of next year.

Seajacks is to create about 70 new jobs in Great Yarmouth, having won a £100m contract to install turbines at the Meerwind offshore wind farm in Germany.

Seajacks has won approval to build a new 22,000 sq ft headquarters for its shipping operation at Great Yarmouth harbour.

Seajacks, the Great Yarmouth-based provider of offshore maintenance services, has been acquired by US private equity firm Riverstone Holdings for £130m.
