RAC is expected to relocate its Lex Auto Logistics operations to smaller premises following the loss of its parts distribution deal with Leyland Trucks.

RAC has won a £1bn contract to operate and expand the contract hire services of Ford Financial, which will initially involve the transfer of 20,000 car contracts to its Lex Vehicle Leasing division.

RAC has sold its Lex Harvey and Lex Birchwood forklift trucks and mobile maintenance operations, including 18 sites and about 1,000 staff, to Finning International of Canada for £99m.
