Nottingham Forest has unveiled plans to build a 50,000-capacity football stadium near Clifton, as part of the redevelopment of a 300-acre site that would also include a hotel, leisure facilities, housing and industrial units.

Nottingham Forest Football Club has unveiled proposals for a new main stand at the City Ground, in order to increase capacity from 30,600 to 40,000.

Nottingham Forest supporters have set up a trust to raise £100m to buy the football club and secure its future.
