NetServices of Salford is planning to sell WAN Services and the trade and assets of NetServices plc to GCI Telecom of Lincoln for £3.2m, and will then change its name to Accumuli.

NetServices is to raise £2.1m in a share placing to fund the expansion of its Salford-based data networks business.

NetServices has sold its volume consumer broadband wholesale business to 186k of Leeds for £1m, with the transfer of 174 contracts and five staff.

NetServices has acquired Telefonica UK, the London-based internet services business, retaining just 15 of the 45 staff, and the combined group will be floated on Aim in September.
