Lyte Industries

Lyte Industries is to relocate its ladder manufacturing business and 100 staff to a new £8m site in Neath Port Talbot, as Tesco has won permission to build a new supermarket on its existing site in Ystradgynlais.

Lyte Industries is planning to relocate its access equipment business and up to 102 staff from Ystradgynlais to a purpose-built £8m factory in Port Talbot in early 2010.

Lyte Industries has taken over the former Lucas SEI factory in Ystradgynlais, Wales, where it will employ up to 250 workers to manufacture ladders and access equipment.
