Infinis Energy is to sell Welsh hydroelectric sites totalling 14MW to Dwr Cymru Welsh Water in a £20m deal, while H20 Power will take sites totalling 3MW.

Infinis Energy has secured £52m to fund the development of the 21-turbine A'Chruach Wind Farm in Argyll by 2016.

Infinis has won Scottish Government approval for a new 55MW wind farm with 22 turbines at Galawhistle in East Ayrshire, with the creation of up to 34 jobs.

Infinis is planning to invest £1.2bn in the development or acquisition of up to 800MW of onshore wind power projects over the next ten years.

Infinis is to acquire Scottish BioPower and Scottish BioFuel from Scottish Resources Group for undisclosed terms, and will proceed with a number of new biomass and wind power projects.
