IBM is to relocate its Inverclyde-based call centre and 200 jobs to Riverside Business Park by next spring.

IBM has acquired i2, the Cambridge-based security information software firm with 350 staff, for undisclosed terms.

IBM is to invest £2m in the development of a mini data centre at its site in Greenock by the end of the year, in order to help smaller companies cut their IT costs.
