IAWS is to merge with Hiestand of Switzerland to create a combined baked goods group called Aryzta, with operations in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Austria, Poland, Malaysia, Japan, North America and Australia.

IAWS has acquired Groupe Hubert, the French bakery products supplier, from Apax Partners for £90m.
