Hasgrove has sold Interel, its public affairs and communications business with an office in London, to a management buy-out for £8.4m.

Hasgrove is to merge its Connectpoint, Amaze and Pavilion digital marketing operations into an enlarged group called Amaze, and some of the 107 staff will relocate to new offices in Manchester and Liverpool.

Hasgrove has acquired Politics International, the London-based public affairs consultancy, for about £3m.

Hasgrove has bought some of the assets and trade of Amaze, the web solutions agency with sites in Cheshire and London, out of administration for £0.6m.

Hasgrove has acquired Pavilion Communication Services, the Wilmslow-based digital marketing agency, for up to £10m, as well as Odyssey Interactive, the Manchester-based supplier of intranet solutions.

Hasgrove has acquired Cabinet Stewart, the Belgian public affairs consultancy, for up to £1.6m.

Hasgrove is to raise £6.2m in a share placing on Aim to fund the expansion of its Manchester-based marketing and communications business, including the creation of an office network in continental Europe.
