First Leisure is to open a £6m health and fitness club in Oxford in January, with the creation of 70 jobs.

First Leisure is to sell its family entertainment business to Allied Leisure and Duke Street Capital for £111m, including bowling centres, the Trecco Bay caravan site, and the Snowdome ski slope in Tamworth.

First Leisure has confirmed that 200 jobs will be created with the opening of three venues at the new Barbican Leisure Park in Plymouth, including the Superbowl, the Destiny nightclub and the Heroes sports bar.
