Epm Technology is to relocate its automotive composites business to a new £6m 50,000 sq ft factory at Westside Park in Derby next year, with the creation of 84 new jobs.

Epm Technology is planning to expand the 80-strong workforce at its Derbyshire-based automotive components business to 95 by the end of the year.

Epm Technology has bought Leda Suspension, the Essex-based manufacturer of automotive damping struts and shock absorbers, out of administration.

Epm Technology is looking to relocate its Derbyshire-based racing car components business and 120 jobs from Draycott to Donington Park, with the creation of 30 new jobs.

Epm Technology is to set up a car body shells factory at the former MG Rover North Works site in Longbridge, with the creation of about 150 new jobs by the end of next year.

Epm Technology is to create 70 new jobs in Leicester, having won contracts to make 150 main body compartments for ambulances, and a second factory will be established on the Hermitage Industrial Estate by September.

Epm Technology is to create 20 jobs at factories in Coalville and Draycott, having won a £14m contract to manufacture components for the new Ascari KZ1 supercar.
