Consafe Engineering

Consafe, the manufacturer of industrial buildings with 160 staff in Aberdeen and Edzell, has been bought out of receivership by McNulty Offshore Contractors of South Shields.

Consafe Engineering is to create 50 new jobs in Aberdeen, having won a contract to manufacture 90 shelter buildings for the Tengiz oil-field development in Kazakhstan.

Consafe, the Burntisland oil construction yard, has undergone a management buy-out and will be renamed Burntisland Fabrications.
