Celloglas, the decorative print finisher, is to close its Seacroft production facility in Leeds with the loss of up to 29 jobs, while its Woodley office will relocate to its nearby site in Reading.

Celloglas has sold five printing sites in Reading, Birmingham, Leicester and two in Leeds out of administration to a new company called Newcelloco, securing the future of 140 jobs.

Celloglas Manchester has acquired the assets of Specialised Cutting & Creasing, the Stockport-based company that recently ceased trading.

Celloglas is planning to invest £3.3m in the expansion of its print finishing business this year.
