Zytronic is planning to expand the Gateshead headquarters of its touchscreens business, and the workforce will rise from 192 to more than 230 by the end of next year. 03-Jun-2009 Zytronic is to invest a further £1.5m at its touchscreens factory on Tyneside by summer 2007, with the expansion of the 190-strong workforce. 15-Dec-2006 Zytronic is to set up a new £2.5m factory to manufacture Zypos touchscreens at its Blaydon site on Tyneside. 14-Dec-2005 Zytronic is expected to increase its 100-strong workforce in Gateshead, having won two new orders worth £5m to supply touchscreens. 25-Jul-2002 Zytronic, the manufacturer of components for electronic information displays, is to raise £5.6m in a flotation on Aim, in order to reduce debt and fund development. 09-Jun-2000
