Yuasa Battery Europe has secured a £18m investment from GE Commercial Finance to fund the expansion of its Ebbw Vale-based battery manufacturing business. 20-Dec-2007 Yuasa Batteries is to close its automotive batteries factory in Birmingham, with the loss of more than 300 jobs. 24-Jan-2005 Yuasa Batteries is planning to shed up to 220 of the 530 jobs at its battery factory in Ebbw Vale by next March. 20-Dec-2004
