Whitecroft has sold its Whitecroft Lighting business to management for £9.2m, as part of a move to de-list its shares by the end of March. 21-Dec-1999 Whitecroft has sold Leaderflush & Shapland, the Nottingham-based safety doors business, to management for £14m. 03-Sep-1999 Whitecroft is planning to sell building products factories in Barnstaple, Nottingham and Sheffield, including the Leaderflush Shapland door manufacturing business that employs 250 people in Barnstaple. 04-Mar-1999 Whitecroft is selling its Chalmit industrial lighting operation to Hubbell of the US for £17m, and is also looking to sell its furniture trimmings and coatings business. 19-Nov-1998
