Waddies, the Livingston-based printer, has been acquired by Ormolu Group for undisclosed terms, and will be combined with Ormolu's Pillans & Wilson business in Edinburgh. 28-May-2002 Waddies is planning to spend up to £15m on acquisitions over the next few months, and is talking to several specialist printers in the Manchester and London areas. 12-Oct-2001 Waddies has received £4m in financial backing in order to expand its printing business into the e-commerce sector and complete a move from Edinburgh to Livingston. 05-Jul-2000 Waddies is to sell the Edinburgh headquarters of its printing business, and will move some operations to Livingston and possibly London as part of its expansion plans. 03-Nov-1999
