Haden MacLellan has acquired MBS Distribution, the industrial fastenings company, from Vector Industries for £24m, which will enable it to expand further into Europe and increase its presence in the automotive market. 12-Mar-1998 Vector Industries has acquired 15 engineering businesses from Caradon for about £200m, leaving Caradon free to focus on building products. 12-Dec-1996
