Timbmet has acquired the Vincent Murphy timber business in Liverpool for undisclosed terms, including its Severn Plywood subsidiary in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire. 10-Jul-2003 Timbmet is to invest a further £1m in the expansion of its hardwood merchant site in Glasgow over the next 12 months. 13-Jun-2001 Timbmet, the timber merchant, has started work on a new £3m office base at Cumnor near Oxford, which will house about 100 staff from June 2001. 27-Oct-2000
