Penn Pharma is to invest £12m in the expansion of its biosciences operation in Tredegar, with the creation of 133 jobs. 05-Mar-2009 Penn Pharmaceuticals, the Tredegar-based contract manufacturer with more than 200 staff, has undergone a £67m management buy-out backed by Lloyds Development Capital. 30-Apr-2007 Penn Pharmaceutical Services is to invest £1m in the expansion of its Tredegar-based pharmaceutical outsourcing business, including new clean rooms, laboratory facilities and the creation of 30 jobs over the next two years. 07-Jul-2006 Penn Pharmaceuticals, the Tredegar-based manufacturer of bespoke unlicensed drugs with 170 staff, has been acquired by Celgene of the US for £62m, and its service division has undergone a secondary management buy-out. 31-Dec-2004 Penn Pharmaceuticals, the Tredegar-based pharmaceutical services company, has undergone a £12m management buy-out, and plans to double the size of its outsourcing business over the next three years. 27-Sep-2000
