NSK is to invest £16m at its bearings factory in Peterlee over the next few years, but 85 of the 600 jobs will be lost by next February. 17-May-2005 NSK is to shed a further 40 jobs at its bearings factory in Newark by the end of September. 25-Apr-2003 NSK Bearings is to shed 95 jobs at its factory in Peterlee. 09-Sep-2002 NSK is creating 50 jobs in a £11m expansion at its automotive bearings plant in Peterlee, but 16 jobs will be lost through the closure of its steering column division. 23-Nov-2001 NSK-RHP Bearings is to relocate about 90 staff from Ruddington to Newark later this year, as part of an ongoing reorganisation of the business. 31-Aug-2001 NSK-RHP, the Japanese bearing manufacturer, is to move its European headquarters from Nottingham to Maidenhead in June with the transfer of 40 jobs, while a further 60 staff will move to Newark. 21-Dec-2000
