NHS Estates is preparing to announce plans for the £3bn construction of 150 diagnostic and treatment units by 2005, and the units will be built and operated by the private sector and staffed by international teams of clinicians. 18-Sep-2002 NHS Estates is expected to soon announce plans to expand its ProCure 21 hospital building programme across the country, having just awarded pilot contracts in the North West and West Midlands to Laing, Costain, Interserve, Norwest Holst and Medicor. 02-May-2002 NHS Estates is planning to build 500 one-stop primary care centres across the country by 2004, in a £1bn public-private alliance with Partnerships UK, and each centre will be worth between £5m and £20m. 04-Oct-2000
