Manthorpe Engineering has won permission from Amber Valley Council to expand its gas turbine components factory in Ripley, with the creation of 150 jobs over the next five years. 11-Jun-2009 Manthorpe is to consolidate its building products business and the 240-strong workforce at its Ripley headquarters, which will involve the closure of sites at Long Eaton and Heanor Gate and the creation of 25 new jobs. 22-Nov-2001 Manthorpe has acquired Huthwaite-based Acrumac Precision Engineering for undisclosed terms, in order to strengthen its expertise in the gas turbine sub-contract manufacturing industry. 07-Mar-2000
