Jaguar Ford is to sell its Jaguar and Land Rover car manufacturing operations to Tata of India for £1bn, securing the future of 13,500 jobs at sites including Solihull, Castle Bromwich and Halewood until at least 2011. 26-Mar-2008 Jaguar is expected to shed up to 190 jobs at its Castle Bromwich car factory in Birmingham and a further ten jobs at its wood veneer centre in Coventry. 12-Feb-2007
