Innovation Group is to acquire the main software business of InterX for up to £8.3m. 21-May-2002 InterX, the internet software company, is planning to sell its head office in Brentford, west London, and some of the 100 jobs will be lost. 12-Feb-2002 InterX has shed about 50 of the 200-strong workforce in its internet software business. 28-Feb-2001 InterX is to sell its Ideal Hardware distribution business to Bell Microproducts of the US for up to £18m, in order to focus on its internet business. 19-Jul-2000 InterX, the hardware distributor, is to buy the remaining 63% of Cromwell Media, and plans to transform Cromwell into an internet technology provider. 13-Mar-2000 InterX is to merge with Cromwell Media in a £226m deal, in order to gain access to software tools for the development of its hardware distribution business. 10-Feb-2000 InterX is planning to separate out its internet and hardware operations, in order to focus on providing an online product information service. 30-Nov-1999
