Economy Power Economy Power, the electricity provider for small businesses, is to close its Cardiff offices in June with the loss of 210 jobs. 26-Oct-2005 Economy Power, the Cardiff-based electricity supply company with 250 staff, is to be acquired by E.ON UK for about £40m, but sister companies Eco2 and Economy Calls are not included in the deal. 30-Mar-2005 Economy Power is planning to set up a customer service centre in Blaenau Gwent with the creation of 50 jobs, having agreed an electricity supply deal with Pennant Wind Energy Ventures. 23-Jun-2004 Economy Power has secured £1.5m of funding from the Bank of Wales to expand its electricity trading business, and more sales people will be added to the 65-strong Cardiff workforce. 09-Apr-2002 The information above comes from the UK Activity Report Copyright UK Business Park 1995-2007
