Camtex Fabrics, the Workington-based manufacturer of shoe-lining fabric with 40 staff, has been sold by DuPont to a management buy-out. 18-Dec-2002 Camtex Fabrics is to shed 30 of the 75 jobs at its shoe-lining fabric factory in West Cumbria, due to the effect of cheap imports. 12-Apr-2001
