Camcal has won an order to construct 49 turbine towers for a Turkish onshore project, providing work for up to 70 people at its Lewis yard in the Western Isles. 11-Dec-2007 Camcal has shed about 50 of the 80 jobs at its renewable energy projects factory at Arnish Point on the Isle of Lewis. 21-Jul-2006 Camcal is to close its wind turbine tower factory in Bangor at the end of the month, with the loss of 60 jobs. 11-Aug-2005 Camcal is planning to create about 40 jobs at Arnish on Lewis, having won a contract from Ocean Power Delivery to produce tube segments for a wave-farm project off the coast of Portugal. 20-Jun-2005
