AB Airlines is to raise £2.3m in a share offer in order to help fight off insolvency, and may also sell the rights to six aircraft that have been ordered. 10-Jul-1999 AB Airlines has sold take-off and landing slots at Gatwick to Virgin Atlantic Airways for £2m, in order to avoid the risk of insolvency. 26-May-1999 AB Airlines is floating on Aim this week with a value of about £25m, and proceeds will be used to fund the acquisition of new aircraft. 21-Apr-1998 AB Airlines is considering a flotation in order to raise £7.5m, and it has also ordered six new Boeing 737-700 aircraft for delivery starting 2001. 16-Feb-1998
