ABN Amro

Barclays has agreed to acquire Dutch bank ABN Amro for £45bn, which will lead to the loss of 12,800 jobs from the combined workforce of 217,000 and a further 10,800 jobs will transfer to lower-cost countries. 24-Apr-2007
